Thanksgiving, Birthday & Belly Laughs

We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and celebrated with family, friends or both. Grandma Debbie had the entire family over to her house for Thanksgiving. There was lots of food, fun and family time! We also celebrated Grandpa John's birthday with an amazing swordfish dinner he made! But first, below is probably a couple of the funniest videos of Brooke laughing that we have caught on video! She was laughing sooooo hard for about 10 minuets and she even fell over at one point from laughing.

Camera Wars

Now that Brooke realizes the camera has a display screen, she would rather stand behind the camera instead of having her picture taken. She cries and runs toward me every time I take the camera out! Things are getting tough, as far as getting some good shots!! So, when you see a pic of her crying or freakin' out, it's because she wants to be behind the camera to look at the screen!

Humm.. what do you think she wants... yep, the camera!
Brooke, you're looking more and more like a little girl everyday.

Tumbling Into Fall

I have to say we feel very lucky that in almost 16 months Brooke has not been sick, however we knew the day would come when she would get her fist cold or virus. This past week my poor little Chuck-a-bear has been sick with a stuffy nose, cough, and worst of all a nasty fever. And on top of all that Aunt Libby came into town for a couple days and Aunt Kenda had a beautiful baby shower that little Miss B couldn't attend. Brooke is feeling much better now!! Here are some pictures from this weekend. As for John, he is loving his new job but working very long hours and some weekends. Sorry for the lack of pictures of Brooke with daddy.

Brooke loves to check out her lil' baby bod in the mirror. So cute!

Happy Halloween!

Little Miss Brooke was a fairy for Halloween. She had fun being dressed-up but her wings started to bug her after a bit. Not much new around here but we sure have been busy. We made a visit to the pumpkin patch & corn maze.

Cali Vay-Cay

It has been another busy week. John went to Denver for job training and had a great time & learned lots. At the same time, Brooke & I went to California to visit my sister, Suzie, and her family, Uncle Ramon & Cousin Dexter. Brooke & Dexter had never met, so it was great to see them play together. We had a wonderful time in California and loved just hanging with the kiddos.

Aunt Libby came home for a quick visit before we went to California and we both decided to cut our hair and donate it to Locks of Love. Here are mine and Libby's before & after photos.
Thank you to Aunt Kenda for beautiful haircuts!

Change Is In the Air

This quick post is completely out of guilt for not posting earlier. Things have been very busy around here. John has changed jobs and is now working for Baker Hughes. He is selling drill bits to the natural gas rigs on the western slope. I have also started working part-time at The Daily Sentinel. I am back at my old desk with a lot of the same co-workers. It actually hasn't been too big of a change. Brooke is staying with Grandma Debbie & Grandma Gail while I work. This week John is in Denver for job training and Brooke & I are heading off to Oakland to see Aunt Suzie, Uncle Ramon & Cousin Dexter for the week. Wish us luck on the flight!
